Reseconomy is not a platform.
It is a framework for coordinating value in a world where artificial intelligence and humans create together.
This page explains how the system functions today, and how it is designed to evolve.
The core idea
When humans and artificial intelligence collaborate, the most valuable part of the process is not the final output.
It is the direction, refinement, and sequence of decisions that led there.
Reseconomy treats this process as the unit of value.
We call it a Thought Path.
What is a Thought Path?
A Thought Path is the recorded lineage of a human–AI collaboration.
It includes:
- who guided the work (human contributor)
- which AI system participated
- when the idea originated
- how the work evolved
- which license version applies
Every Thought Path is unique.
Even if two people ask the same question, the conversation, refinements, and decisions will differ.
That difference is where value lives.
The roles in the system
The human role
Humans contribute:
- direction
- framing
- judgment
- selection
- combination of ideas
Humans decide what matters.
This role cannot be automated.
The AI role
AI contributes:
- generation
- structure
- synthesis
- refinement
- speed and scale
AI expands the space of possibility.
Under Reseconomy, AI is treated as a collaborator, not a tool.
Creating a Co-Created Work
A Co-Created Work emerges when:
- A human guides an AI system toward an idea
- The AI generates and refines output
- The human iterates, selects, and directs further
- The resulting work is declared under the Reseconomy License
At that point, the work carries a Declared Thought Path.
Declaring a Thought Path
To declare a Thought Path, a creator includes simple metadata with the work.
At minimum:
- Human contributor(s)
- AI collaborator(s)
- Date of origin
- License version
This declaration can be:
- a text block
- a header
- a metadata file
- a registry entry
The format is flexible.
The requirement is consistency.
Reuse is expected, not restricted
Reseconomy assumes that:
- AI-generated content will be reused
- copying is inevitable
- enforcement through restriction does not scale
Instead of trying to prevent reuse, the framework coordinates it.
Reuse is allowed, including commercial reuse, provided that:
- attribution to the original Thought Path is preserved
- declared royalty expectations are honored where feasible
How value flows
Reseconomy replaces wages and exclusivity with royalties.
Value flows when:
- a Thought Path is sold
- a derivative work is created
- a blueprint is reused
- an idea propagates downstream
Royalties:
- reward original direction
- keep money circulating
- allow humans to contribute economically in an automated world
Today, royalties may be implemented manually or by agreement.
Future systems may automate this process.
Why there is no copyright requirement
Many AI-generated works are not copyrightable.
Reseconomy treats this as an advantage, not a flaw.
When ownership is weak:
- participation becomes valuable
- timing matters
- lineage matters
- coordination matters
The framework operates alongside existing law, not against it.
Blockchain and the future
Reseconomy is designed to be compatible with blockchain-based systems.
Future implementations may support:
- on-chain provenance
- immutable timestamps
- automated royalty distribution
- AI compute attribution
- downstream tracking of derivatives
These systems are not required to begin using the framework.
The license defines norms first.
Enforcement layers can follow.
What this enables
Over time, this framework supports:
- idea marketplaces
- blueprint registries
- AI–human portfolios
- resale-based income
- post-wage economic participation
Reseconomy does not dictate how this must be built.
It defines how it should work.
In simple terms
- Humans provide direction
- AI provides execution
- The collaboration is the asset
- Reuse is allowed
- Lineage is preserved
- Royalties replace wages
That’s the system.
